　　我是一只羊，蹦跳于田野，踩野花，吃嫩草，扑打蝴蝶，很快活。见麻雀和乌鸦飞入空中，真羡慕，恨自己飞不起来。远处来一群羊，规规矩矩挤着走，原来有一个拿着鞭子的牧羊人在指挥，我才知我是一只野羊，怕被捉，逃奔山谷。潺潺的流水吸引我，任性喝水，忘了被追捕的危险。羊群也被赶来喝水，我迅速爬上高处岩石中躲藏，羊群个个肥胖，都上不来。

　　I am a sheep, happily frisking in the fields, tramping on wild flowers, eating fresh grass, and pursuing butterflies.  When seeing sparrows and crows flying in the sky, I’m so jealous and hate myself for being unable to fly.  A herd of sheep come from the distance, obediently walking together, as a herder is guiding them with a whip in hand.  Thus, I realize I am a wild sheep, and hurry to escape into a valley for fear of being caught.  Attracted by the slowly flowing water, I willfully drink some, forgetting the danger of being hunted.  The sheep herd also comes to drink, and I swiftly climb onto a high rock to hide.  The fat sheep in the herd couldn’t catch up with me.
