作品描述 | 上海美术馆藏^_^ Collection of Shanghai Art Museum 黑沉沉的丛山,长江轮船冲向黑暗,撞进峡谷,情况显得严峻。偶遇月夜,亦予人月黑天高,星星有鬼眨眼之恐惧感;^_^ 长江两岸皆山城,滨江叠城,气势宏伟。夜,万家灯火,在乌黑的宇宙中显得分外灿烂辉煌,每遇夜航经过山城,我总要欣赏个够,苦于无法用绘画表现这景之奇观与心之跳跃;^_^ 我试绘过无数次夜航,染透了黑,却失去了黑中之跃动。这回,在黑之氛围中突出了黑之结构、黑之筋骨,夜只是配角,是剧中的锣鼓或背景。猛记起,这可能是无意中受了京剧《三岔口》表演处理的影响;^_^ Between dark mountains a ship on the Yangtze dashes into a dark gorge. The situation seems critical. On a moonlit night, the blinking stars in the high sky look terrifying. The Yangtze is lined on its banks by imposing cities. At night, the lights of the cities look splendid in the dark universe. Each time I passed one of them at night, I would appreciate it to my heart’s content, pained by my inability to convey the spectacle and the throb of my heart in a painting. I tried painting numerous pictures of night journey. They were imbued with darkness, but lacks the dynamism in it. In this one, the structure and frame of darkness are highlighted in the dark milieu; the night is merely a supporting role--gongs and drums or the setting of a play. It occurred to me that I might have been unwittingly influenced by the performance in the Peking opera San Cha Kou. |
